Directions to the Altoona Bus Research and Test Center

From State College:
Take I-99 S/US-220 S toward Altoona/Philipsburg for approximately 39 miles. Take the Plank Road exit (Exit 31), making a left turn onto US-220 Business Route/West Plank Road. The Altoona Bus Test Center is 1.3 miles ahead on the right.

From Pittsburgh:
Take I-376 E/US-22 E toward Monroeville, merge onto US-22 E/William Penn Highway via the LEFT exit toward Murrysville. Travel approximately 80 miles and merge onto I-99 N/US-220 N via the LEFT exit toward Altoona. Using Exit 31, merge right onto US-220 Business Route/West Plank Road. The Altoona Bus Test Center is 1.3 miles ahead on the right.

From Harrisburg:
Take I-76 W/Pennsylvania Turnpike toward Pittsburgh for approximately 82 miles. Use Exit 146 toward US-220/US-30/I-99 and pay toll. Turn left onto US-220 Business Route, immediately moving into the left lane and turn left onto I-99 entrance ramp. Merge right onto I-99 N/US-220 N toward Altoona and travel approximately 31 miles. Use Exit 31 to merge right onto US-220 Business Route/West Plank Road. The Altoona Bus Test Center is 1.3 miles ahead on the right.
